It’s that time again! Once a year I look for new faces who might be interested in learning about how to help the homeless in our community. We started out helping adults in DC, and have expanded to working with individuals as well as families in the DC Metro area. We have wonderful programs for homeless Vets as well.
As a board member, friend and volunteer of Friendship Place I am excited to invite you to join my table at the Friends & Neighbors Fundraising Breakfast on May 7 from 8:30am-9:30 am.
The Friends & Neighbors Fundraising Breakfast is a free one-hour event for people to come and learn more about how Friendship Place is working to end homelessness and rebuild lives in our community. Yes, this is a fundraiser. You will be asked to consider making a contribution, but giving is optional; there is no minimum or maximum gift requested. It will be Friendship Place’s job to inspire people to give. As much as anything, we want people to come and find out about the important role this organization plays in our community. I would be delighted if you could join me at my table.
