I’d like to invite you to help the homeless by joining my table at Friendship Place’s “Friends and Neighbors” fundraising breakfast on Thursday, May 15th. It will be from 8:30AM until 9:30AM at the Washington Hebrew Congregation located at 3935 Macomb Street NW, Washington DC 20016
As a board member and volunteer of Friendship Place I am very excited about this event. Every year I make a commitment to bring new people to the breakfast to learn about the amazing and wonderful services we provide to help homeless individuals and families rebuild their lives in the community.
The “Friends and Neighbors” Breakfast is a free one hour event for people to come and learn more about us. Yes, this is a fundraiser. You will be asked to consider making a contribution, but giving is optional; there is no minimum or maximum gift requested. It will be Friendship Place’s job to inspire people to give.
As much as anything, we want people to come and find out about the important role this organization plays in our community. I would be delighted if you could join me at my table. Please let me know at RSVP@MarjorieDickStuart.com
